Everyday French
Course Information
This course has been designed to help you
get the most enjoyment out of living and working for yourself in France.
Learning a new language is daunting and The Language Forum recognises the
effort and motivation that a new learner requires in order to approach the
minefield of structures and expressions that exist. We have devised an
approach that will allow you to learn at your own pace and be a practical
asset when contending with everyday issues that arise.

Content
Included in your
course will be all the essential vocabulary required for the acquisition of
basic everyday French

grammar sections
to help you tackle the idiosyncrasies of the French language

worksheets to help reinforce
your understanding

samples of printed material: official
documents; menus; promotions etc

role play scenarios

word and phrase lists including terms
for interior design, plumbing, electricity, soft furnishings etc
Teaching aids :
Because
the course is tailor made to your language requirements we can help you
focalise your language learning to match your needs. We want you to enjoy
learning French so we have adopted a light hearted approach which we hope
will help you relax and therefore assimilate new information with enthusiasm
and pleasure. Role plays offer the opportunity of practising new skills
within a real life context. They give pertinence to recently acquired
vocabulary and reinforce your learning. Pre-recorded cassettes will help
with your pronunciation and the worksheets will develop and strengthen your
perception of the structure of the French language.
